Fabric flowers?

Thinking of trying this DIY fabric flower method. Then I can make the textured, bulky flowers I like, in the colors I want, for my bouquet! I know, most artificial flowers look ridiculous, but I thought these were actually charming and pretty.

  1. Ooooh eeee! Great idea! Looks kinda easy, too. Black, white, and ocean blue? Or natural flower colors? Plus you can save em forever, or give em as favors to special peeps.

  2. Are these the same flowers in the post below this one? Niki and I should be able to do these, we are both crafty. looks like a it needs to be a kind of heavier material to be able to hold form . Give us the colors you want them to be so we can check out some fabrics. We can maybe make a couple and send them to you to see.

  3. No, mom, the flowers below are real. Haha. But, yeah, felt might work nicely. I think a mix of different fabrics would give them the best texture. I'd like to try some in teal/ocean blue, black and white, or maybe a pink, black and white color scheme, like the real ones in the other post? Not sure, really. The whole flower thing has me a bit stumped. I love the fullness and thicker texture of the garden roses in the bouquets below.
